NASHVILLE, TN, November 19, 2015, Tune, Entrekin & White, P.C. Co-Founder and Attorney Thomas V. White has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the legal field.
Overseeing daily operations at the law firm, Mr. White offers legal representation in the areas of land use and zoning issues, and business litigation.
Mr. White has 43 years of experience in the legal field, including 37 years as a co-founder and attorney at Tune, Entrekin & White, P.C. On a day-to-day basis, he handles hearings and litigation, maintains and builds relationships with clients, and represents clients on land-use legislation in the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County, as well as before most of the Boards of that County. In addition, Mr. White has been admitted to practice in Tennessee, the United States District Court of the Middle District of Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. White is generally recognized in most business publications as one of the more influential persons in Davidson County.
In looking back, Mr. White became involved in his profession because he was interested in helping people. He was the first in his family to become a lawyer.
Mr. White received a JD degree from Vanderbilt University. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliations with the Nashville Bar Association (past President), the Tennessee Bar Association, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court. In the coming years, Mr. White hopes to continue to do his best for his clients and the profession.
